Daniel Jaen

Daniel Jaen is a contemporary painter and investigator of the human body. Through his portraits, the artist puts his own sexuality under discussion and questions the image of men in today's society.

His dynamic and fragmented brushstrokes invoke masculine fragility and allow these figures to manifest themselves in their most sensitive forms.

The artist intends to go beyond the physical body. The several layers of painting, the often visible sketches and unfinished parts, create the most diverse connotations and let the viewer reach other psychological and emotional extensions of men.

Daniel has a close relationship with social networks that is directly manifested in his work. His technique has a strong influence of several other contemporary artists with whom he connects on digital platforms.
